Coolgarra Bush House - Warm and Inviting
There is a unique spirituality surrounding Coolgarra Bush House. It has been designed and built by an individual with some vision. A decade ago Simon visited Springbrook, he realised the place had great beauty and also Springbrook has a certain pure sacred energy that is tangible. Simon selected his land with care and opened a dream in his heart. Coolgarra has been built slowly with love and attention to detail. This is obvious from the beautiful fireplace to the recycled hardwood that lines the walls and floors. It is a modern adaptation of a 13th century design, this gives an old world feeling that is serene and fitting in the pristine bush. Coolgarra is nestled within 7 mountain ash trees, this is both comforting and powerful, the rainforest is very much part of the decor. Many of Simon's friends have generously given time to his project.This adds to Coolgarra's heart and all who helped have been touched by its essence and love to return. In more recent years Simon has been joined by his wife Kylie to complete the final stages. Coolgarra Bush House has been a labour of love at all times, this warmth pervades the atmosphere, and you will be cradled in its Peace!
