COOLGARRA BUSH HOUSE is fully self contained and sleeps 6 people in comfort. Walking into Coolgarra through the heavy silky oak front door, one is struck by the abundance of warm hardwood, natural light floods through the many large windows and centrepiece to the living area is a marvellous arched sandstone open fire place. The polished hardwood floors add sparkle, a natural slab staircase curves up into the master bedroom , a romantic spacious loft. From the queen ensemble, you look out into the rainforest or up at the exposed hardwood beams(ex bridge timbers) that form the internal frame for the house. Also in the loft there is a secluded nook which has a TV and DVD. This can also be swung around to allow the luxury of watching your favourite movie in bed. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. TELEGRAPH room opens onto a covered verandah through large silky oak French sliding doors. This has a lovely cast iron and brass four posted double bed, very comfortable, and utterly charming in this warm earthy atmosphere. The EARLY SETTLERS room has two sturdy single beds, it too is inviting, light and airy. Also we have a large well appointed kitchen which has gorgeous views into the rainforest. There is a modern bathroom with stained glass and corrugated iron, large steaming shower rose, heater, antique porcelain basin set into wide bench top.




At Coolgarra all the beds have electric blankets, there is an open fire with all wood provided, an oil heater. Linen is available for a modest hire charge. We supply tea and coffee, all kitchen gear, hair drier and many incidentals. We also have a gas B-B-Q, stereo with radio, CD and Tape, plus a fully equipped laundry with a washing machine and drier. There is excellent undercover parking close to the house. All you need to bring is some lovely food to complete a magnificent time away from it all. There are fabulous restaurants, it is best to talk to us about booking a table in advance. There are also cafes and a corner store which will provide basic provisions. Just up the road is an award winning winery open 7 days, other drinks are best bought with you.
